Last Night at Home

The night before Daniel's departure, we took pictures at home and then went out to eat at his favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse.  After eating, we went directly to the church where he was set apart by the first counselor in the stake presidency, President Shawn Vandenberg.  After the setting apart, Daniel had the opportunity to give his mother a priesthood blessing.

Called to Serve

Daniel's mission call arrived June 10, 2015.

With family gathered around on Skype, he opened his call.

We were all very surprised when he read he would be going to the Ghana Accra Mission.

He reported to the Ghana MTC on October 1. He will be speaking English.
